Yann  was Born in Algier, from an Italien mother and French father, he grew up and studied in the Southeast of France, in Nice.

Following several trips in the early eighties to the Pacific and Tahiti, Yann returned to Chantilly, north of Paris.

Quickly orientated his career to graphic Arts and film, it was in animated movies that he evolved through the numerous stages of production.

From colour research to storyboard, he acquired the necessary experience leading him to directing movies.

He participated in numerous productions, such as « Babar, »  « Tintin, » and « Blake and Mortimer » for the Canal+ studios.

Always curious for new technologies, Yann entered 3D pictures and collaborated as Assistant Director on the « Donky Kong » television series, as well as the Playstation 2 game,  « Robocop » as Project Manager.

Many creative years later, Yann had cultivated solid movie-making concepts, such as composition, framing and overall direction.

But it was through photography that he wanted to transmit his passion for colours and artistic

sense -  by giving an orientation and depth to his images, transmitting his emotions through colors, a particular look, or a face.

Juggling between contrasts, pastel tones, clarity and obscurity, and playing with perspectives , Yann is in a perpetual graphic and artistic search.

His attempts merge image and adventure,  engaging him to get closer to people from distant lands (Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Argentina, Philppines). These multicoloured environments, rich in discovery and emotion also allowed him to experience many cultural beliefs with sincerity.

Wherever he travels, his humble gaze settles on the lives and traditions of these people. Creating something tangible form these special moments is all that he asks.

It’s with simplicity that gives us his clichés, emotions, visions of the world. It’s for us to discover his messages,  for us to live his landscape…
